Even though HOI is completely dead, I still get a lot of questions. Here are finally some answers.

1) Why was HOI shut down?
I had a couple of reasons to shut down HOI after more then 5 years.

• Time and money: running a site as big as HOI was, takes a LOT of time and it costs money too. Many people think running a site is free, but you need servers, hardware, bandwidth, technical support, etc. And after 5 years I decided it was time for a change. Life goes on, and sometimes you just can't make the time anymore.
  
• I wasn't down with the new Psychopathic stuff. And when you don't love the music anymore, why run a fansite?
• All the bitching and hating. Try doing something you like, but each and every day you get told it all sucks, you should go to hell, you are a fake, etc. I dare you! Of course there was a LOT of love too, that's why I didn't quit 2 years earlier.
• The Juggalo community itself. All these 14 year old punks calling everyone with an opinion "juffalo's" and what not. Abusing the Juggalo world for their own personal gain, thinking all Juggalettes should just be their whores. It all went downhill real fast. I miss the good old days when the Juggalo community was small and underground, when you knew everyone by name. When it was still about family. Most new Juggalos don't even know what it means. They ask everything and give nothing.

2) Will HOI ever come back to its former glory?
Short answer: no.

3) What site should I use now?
I don't know, go to faygoluvers.com.

4) Will you add [insert album here] to the lyrics?
If someone sends the lyrics and I am extremely bored, maybe. HOI is dead, I don't want to work on it anymore. I don't even listen to the new Psychopathic stuff anymore (but I still love the early albums by ICP and Twiztid!).

5) Are you still down?
I still listen a lot to ICP and Twiztid (mainly the early stuff) but no, I don't introduce myself as a Juggalo anymore. Mostly because I really can't connect with the people who do call themselves Juggalos these days... I will however always remember how it used to be and never regret my 2 Jokers Card tattoos! So it's not like I all hate it now and became a hater or something like that. So no need for hatemail :)

6) Can you add the mad luv / hot luv section again? Can you add the forum / chatroom again? Can you put the profiles back online?
No. HOI is dead.

7) Can I take over HOI so it can go on forever?
No. HOI was my baby and I am not letting someone else take it over and potentially ruin my "legacy". Because it does feel like a legacy. Hey, after more then 5 years I think I earned that right ;)

8) When will HOI "really" be dead? I.e. no more lyrics, no nothing?
When the domain registration ends. Somewhere in 2010 I think. Or maybe I'll use the domainname for something completely else, who knows.

9) Can I copy the lyrics for my own site?
Sure, no problem.
